League of Legends: global finals held on November 18th, champion to get $150,000

The League of Legends: Genting’s Game of Dragons Global Finals will be held on November 18-20. According to the information released by Fist Games, 32 top players from 8 Genting game regions will gather on the online tournament server for a remote showdown during the tournament.

The 32 players will qualify through the qualifiers of each region and then participate in the “Genting Game: Dragon Realm” global finals. The tournament will take place on version 12.21.

The 32 finalists will have a chance to share the $456,000 prize pool, with the winner taking home $150,000 and the Golden Shovel trophy, according to Fist Games.

Tournament System

During the tournament, each player will be awarded points based on their ranking performance in each round: 8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1 (example: 8 points for first place, 1 point for eighth place).

"On Day 1, players will play in groups of 8 for 5 rounds and will be regrouped after the first two rounds. 32 players will all advance to Day 2.

Day 2 players keep their points from Day 1. Players play in groups of 8 for 5 rounds. After the first two games, the 8 players with the highest number of points will advance to Day 3.

The top 8 players on Day 3 will compete in the "Top of the Table" system and after gaining 18 points, the first player will be crowned the Genting Game: Dragon Realm Global Final Champion."

  • Eastern Qualifier (LCQ): 2
