Lava Agni 2 5G confirmed to be equipped with Dimensity 7050 chip

MediaTek released the Dimensity 7050 chip on April 30, similar to the Dimensity 1080 chip launched last year. Now, the Indian brand Lava has officially confirmed that the Lava Agni 2 5G phone will be equipped with a Dimensity 7050 chip.

It was revealed that the price of Lava Agni 2 5G is less than 25,000 Indian rupees, will be equipped with a 120Hz AMOLED display, a rear 50MP main camera (supports OIS optical image stabilization), and a front 16MP camera, built-in 5000mAh battery, supports 44W charging.

The Dimensity 7050 is built on TSMC’s N6 process (6nm), has two Arm Cortex-A78 performance cores with a main frequency of 2.6GHz and six Arm Cortex-A55 energy-saving cores with a main frequency of 2.0GHz, and the GPU is Arm Mali-G68 MC4.

Dimensity 7050 chip supports up to 200MP camera sensor and 4K@ 30FPS video recording, supports up to 2520 x 1080 resolution display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and supports up to LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage, supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and Dual SIM 5G connectivity.
