A few days ago, Kingston released the entry-level SSD NV1 upgrade NV2, from PCIe 3.0 to PCIe 4.0, offering 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB 4 models to choose from.

According to the latest news from BoBoard, this SSD will be available soon, with the 500GB model expected to cost around RMB 305 and the 1TB model expected to cost around RMB 545 in the channel.

According to reports, Kingston’s NV2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD is a significant next-generation storage solution equipped with a Gen 4×4 NVMe controller. NV2 read/write speeds up to 3,500/2,800MB/sec with lower power consumption and less heat dissipation. The compact single-sided M.2 2280 (22x80mm) design expands storage up to 2TB while saving space for other components, making the NV2 ideal for slim laptops, small form factor (SFF) systems and DIY motherboards.

Kingston has not yet announced the main control and flash memory model of this SSD. It is reported that the Phison E19T main control is used with 3D QLC NAND flash memory.
