With the development of the electric vehicle industry, many traditional car companies are starting to launch electric models. Compared to other competitors, Jeep has been slower to go electric, but has also introduced models like the plug-in hybrid version of the Wrangler.

According to motor1 today, Jeep’s new small electric SUV is being tested in Europe, and spy photos of the exterior and interior have been leaked. The vehicle is said to be based on PSA Group’s new e-CMP platform and will be available in both fuel and electric versions.

From the spy photos, we can see that Jeep’s new small electric SUV does not adopt Jeep’s previous square shape, the overall appearance is rounded. The front of the car continues the family-style seven-hole grille design, the two sides of the headlights are blackened and connected to the grille, a strong sense of integration.

The car is equipped with shark fins on top, effectively enhancing the sense of sportiness. The side waistline adopts a through design, embellishing a sense of hierarchy. The wheels are blacked-out multi-spoke and have an excellent texture. According to motor1, the length of the car is about 4.1 meters to 4.15 meters, which is smaller than the Liberty, so the car should be positioned below the Liberty and belong to the entry-level product.

At the rear, the car’s taillight cluster is larger in size, with a square design and high recognition. At the same time, the car’s license plate adopts a concave design, dividing the rear of the car’s sense of hierarchy.

In the interior, the car uses a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, equipped with a suspended center screen and LCD instrument panel. At the same time, the car has a large size storage slot in front of the gear knob, and retains a large number of physical buttons. Although the exposed spy photos for the fuel version with the manual transmission, but it is expected that the electric version of the interior will be synchronized.

The electric version of the car will be powered by a 136 hp (100 kW) electric motor with a 50 kWh battery pack and a range of more than 300 km.

On March 6 this year, Jeep, a Stellantis company, released the first images of its upcoming electric SUV and said it will be launched in 2023.
