Following through with its predecessor, the iQOO Neo7 SE will soon launch to join other devices in the Neo 7 line-up. The coming launch of this device became public via a leak, and the tipster responsible also noted the possible processor to be in use on the device. From the information reveal we got a faint glimpse into the possible plans of MediaTek to launch a new flagship-level processor.

According to the tipster, Digital Chat Station, the coming device from the recent iQOO Neo series will use the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. The tipster also went on to note that the coming device will make use of a 120W fast charging ability, but doesn’t state its battery capacity. Other specifications of this device remain unknown as the available information is superficial.

Changing the processor on the iQOO Neo 7 SE to a processor from the Dimensity 8000 series will mean less power for this device. So, we can’t expect this device to outshine the more powerful iQOO Neo 7 that uses the Dimensity 9000+. More information on the coming MediaTek Dimensity 8200 to be in use on the coming iQOO device will be available in the coming weeks.

We might as well see the launch of a more powerful iQOO Neo 7 variant that might retail only in the company’s local market. Pricing for the iQOO Neo 7 SE will be much lower than we see on its more powerful sibling. We will get more information on the specifications, price, and availability of this device with future leaks and reveals as its launch approaches.
