iOS 16 allows users to create up to 200 custom lock screen wallpapers

One of the core features of iOS 16 is the ability to customize the iPhone lock screen interface. This feature allows you to create multiple collections with different wallpapers, font settings, and even widgets. However, although multiple customization options can be set, the latest version of the iPhone operating system will not allow you to create any number of custom lock screens.

According to the Reddit community, you can set up to 200 custom lock screens per iPhone in iOS 16. After that, the user will be prompted to delete one of the added collections and create a new one. Of course, this limit seems to be more than enough for many users, but interestingly, Apple won’t let you create an unlimited number of lock screens.

In the current implementation, browsing through the 200 lock screen wallpaper options also seems less than intuitive. This is because you have to swipe through each one, for example, and there is no quick way to jump from the first to the last.
