Nowadays, wearing a mask when you go out has become the norm, and many of you are looking forward to the phone supporting support for mask recognition. The new HarmonyOS 3.0.0.150 version of the Huawei Mate 50 Pro is expected to support mask recognition, according to digital blogger @XiXiKatarina.

He said that the Huawei Mate 50 Pro is testing the HarmonyOS 3.0.0.150 version, and one of the biggest upgrades in this version is that it will bring the “mask recognition” feature.

The screenshot shows that when the Mate 50 Pro has the “mask recognition” feature enabled, it can be authenticated by eye features. It is important to note that you need to look at the screen when doing so.

The Huawei Mate 50 series was just launched in September this year and consists of four models: Mate 50E, Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 RS Porsche Design.

Among them, the Mate 50E and Mate 50 have a center-perforated straight screen design, while the Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50RS Porsche Design have a curved banana screen.

As for the processor, all models are equipped with Snapdragon 8+ 4G processors, except for the Huawei Mate 50E which is equipped with a Snapdragon 778G 4G processor.
