Intel today officially announced that the Intel FPGA Innovation Center in Chongqing has deployed Intel Agilex, Stratix 10 NX, a 10nm SuperFin process technology, Chiplet small chip design, 3D SiP stereoscopic packaging, support DDR5, PCIe 5.0, in terms of production, process, packaging, interconnection and other aspects of the previous generation of products have been significantly improved, can be used in the data center 5G, AI scenarios, compared to the previous generation of Stratix 10 can improve performance by 45%, power consumption is reduced by 40%.

The Stratix 10 NX FPGAs feature additional AI-based tensor modules over their previous counterparts, allowing direct interconnect without memory and special AI optimizations for higher bandwidth, lower latency, and higher efficiency and flexibility than traditional approaches.

Intel FPGA China Innovation Center is Intel’s largest FPGA innovation center in the world and the only one in Asia. It focuses on promoting FPGA technology and ecology, and has incubated more than 100 pan-intelligent technology enterprises in industrial cooperation.

In addition, the innovation center has trained more than 8,000 FPGA engineers and developers, very close to the goal of training 10,000 engineers in 3 years, and the employment rate of the off-the-job training held has reached 100%, and 13 textbooks have been published, three of which have been shortlisted for the National 13th Five-Year Plan.
