After sneak peeks at retailers in Nadia, Europe and Asia, Intel’s 14th generation Raptor Lake Refresh series processors are now available at OCUK, the UK’s largest retailer, and are expected to go on sale next week (October 17th).
The retailer lists five of the six “K” series chips, including the i9-14900K, i9-14900KF, i7-14700KF, i5-14600K, and i5-14600KF, and they’ve seen a slight price increase, averaging about 5%.
The 24-core i9-14900K, for example, is priced at £579 (currently around RMB 5,170, including 20% sales tax), up 1.5% compared to the 13th-generation Core i9-13900K price, while the i5-13600KF has risen by 7.5%.
It’s worth noting that the 13th generation Core series processors were listed at significantly higher prices in the UK, with prices heavily influenced by the prevailing USD/GBP exchange rate.
From what we can tell, the first batch of 14th Gen Core Raptor Lake Refresh series processors Intel is preparing to launch on October 17th is expected to include 6 models: i9-14900K (F), i7-14700K (F), i5-14600K (F), and more non-K 65W models will be available at CES 2024.
