According to the latest news, Intel’s 13th generation Core P-series mobile processors will be the 12th generation’s frequency-boosted version, still maintaining the specifications of 12 cores and 16 threads. In terms of nuclear display, Intel is not ready to catch up with AMD for the time being. The 13th generation Core P series is still 96/80EU, but the GPU frequency has been increased.

As shown in the figure above, the core display of i7-1360P is 96EU, and the GPU frequency can reach 1500MHz; the i5-1340P is 80EU, and the GPU frequency can reach 1450MHz.

For comparison, the current i7-1260P core display is 96EU, and the GPU frequency can reach 1400MHz; the i5-1240P core display is 80EU, and the GPU frequency is 1300MHz.

AMD mobile processor core display has improved significantly in recent years. The current RDNA2 architecture Radeon 680M has 12CU, and its performance is doubled compared to the previous generation Vega core display. The upcoming Ryzen 7000 mobile processor will take it to the next level, equipped with RDNA3 core display, and its performance is expected to increase by 50%.

Intel is expected to adopt a larger core display on the 14th generation Core Meteor Lake mobile processor. It is reported that Meteor Lake’s nuclear display will adopt the Xe-LPG architecture, which is a simplified version of the Xe-HPG architecture of the independent display. It is unclear how many EUs (execution units) the Xe-LPG core display of the 14th generation Core has. The earliest news said that it could reach 192 EUs, but recent news said that there may be only 128 EUs.
