The source Moore’s Law is Dead shared information about the 15th generation CPUs such as Arrow Lake, Panther Lake and Beast Lake in the latest video.

It was previously reported that Intel’s 15th-generation desktop CPUs start with Meteor Lake-S and include at least 4 series. In the latest news, MLID said that Intel has canceled Meteor Lake-S.

Intel’s 14th-generation desktop CPUs will focus on upgrading Raptor Lake, increasing clock frequency and power consumption, and supporting faster cache speeds.

Intel plans to launch the Arrow Lake-S series in the fourth quarter of 2024. It is the first product to use the LGA 1851 socket, including 8 P-cores based on the Lion Cove design and 32 E-cores based on the Skymont architecture.

MLID believes that Intel Arrow Lake-S desktop CPU single-thread performance is 30-40% higher than Raptor Lake.

According to the picture information: Under the same power consumption, the multithreading performance of the CPU on the 6+8 configuration has increased by 40%, so compared with the fastest 8+16 processor, the overall desktop performance improvement may be in 50%+ range.
