India Q4 2022 PC Market Report: Apple shipments up 60.2%, Lenovo down 51%

Canalys expects PC and tablet shipments in India to be 18 million units in 2023, down 6% year-on-year. That was a smaller decline than the global market, which is expected to contract by 9%.

According to the brand market segment, Apple will surpass Samsung in the fourth quarter of 2022 and become the leader in the tablet market. The combined sales of Apple Mac and iPad increased by 60.2% year-on-year, and it is also the first brand in the Indian market to show positive growth.

The only company ahead of Apple is HP with a market share of 23.2%. However, HP’s annual sales fell 27.6% year-over-year. Sales at Lenovo and Dell have also fallen every year.
