In the wave of developing electric cars, Hyundai is also investing heavily in their IONIQ series of electric cars, of which several have been launched. And reports from foreign media show that after launching the IONIQ 5 in April last year and showing the IONIQ 6 at the Busan Motor Show last month, the next one in Hyundai’s IONIQ series, the IONIQ 7, is scheduled to be launched a year apart.

From the reports of foreign media, Hyundai plans to launch the IONIQ 7 in 2024, will be a pure electric SUV, based on the E-GMP platform, and will be the third electric car on this platform of Hyundai, the first two were IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6.

It is worth noting that at the Los Angeles Auto Show last November, Hyundai showed their IONIQ series SEVEN concepts, which is also an SUV, but the foreign media did not mention in the latest report that Hyundai plans to launch the IONIQ 7 in 2024, whether it is the SEVEN concepts shown last year.

As the technology continues to mature and the number of models increases, the Hyundai IONIQ series of electric cars are increasingly recognized by consumers. The IONIQ 6 electric car received more than 37,000 orders on the first day of booking, which is 13,686 units higher than the 23,760 units on the first day of booking for the IONIQ 5, 57% higher.

And with the launch of the pure electric SUV IONIQ 7, Hyundai electric car models will be further increased, and then consumers will have more choices and cover more markets.
