Huawei officially launched the AITO M5 EV, which is the first purely electric model of Huawei’s AITO brand. The Aito M5 EV is available in two models, the standard version (rear-wheel drive) for RMB 288,600 and the performance version (four-wheel drive) for RMB 31.98.
Yu Chengdong introduced the overall design of the M5 EV to continue the family concept of extreme, simple and pure, closed dynamic shark nose design, dynamic and highly technological sense of the lion headlights, eagle wing through the tail lights, to create a stylish and durable urban ecological aesthetic design.
The entire car is optimized in many exclusive places, with the fluid dynamic body, racing-grade side inflow air intakes, 20-inch aerodynamic wheels, hidden flush door handles and pointed rear swallow spoiler, all of which significantly reduce the wind resistance design, making its wind resistance coefficient only 0.266 Cd.; lower than luxury cars such as Mercedes-Benz EQC (0.29 Cd.) and BMW iX3 (0.29 Cd.).
As a pure electric model, eliminating the range extender, AITO M5 EV also provides an 80-liter front trunk, which supports individual remote opening and has a waterproof function, so that the car can be temporarily transformed into an express storage box.
Intelligent configuration, AITO M5 EV car with Harmony 3.0 system and intelligent cockpit, also equipped with the industry’s strongest car charging, the car two 40 watts wireless super fast charging, three 66 watts wired fast charging, and one 18 wired fast charging. And, the car is also the first HUD height intelligent adjustment, better user experience.
At the same time, Huawei also premiered Huawei Dynamic Adaptive Torque System, the first to be installed on the M5 EV, which can dynamically identify road conditions on bumpy roads and intelligently adjust the torque to significantly improve smoothness.
Chassis part, AITO M5 EV equipped with million luxury-class all-aluminum alloy chassis. The front and rear double-wishbone independent suspension strengthens anti-roll; the front and rear axle load ratio is 50:50, and the H-arm multi-link independent rear suspension enhances handling stability.
Power performance, Yu Chengdong introduced, AITO M5 EV equipped with HUAWEI DriveONE pure electric intelligent platform, the maximum power can reach 365kW, peak torque of 675N-m, zero hundred acceleration as fast as 4.5 seconds; and the rear-drive version, acceleration is only 7.1 seconds. The vehicle is equipped with an 80kWh battery pack and has a range of 620km for the rear-wheel drive model and 552km for the four-wheel drive performance version.
