The Huawei Pocket S will become official on November 2, and we now have more information on the clamshell folding device. To make this device more appealing to the younger generation of smartphone users, Huawei stepped up on the design of the original P50 Pocket. Well, the design is not the only element we will touch on in this article, as the processor(s) and storage capacity of this device are also worthy of our attention.

Recent reports have it that the Huawei Pocket S will become official with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G processor and the Snapdragon 778G 4G processor. We can’t validate this claim from our sources, so we’ll advise that you take the information with a pinch of salt. Previous leaks pointed to the latter 4G processor as being the SoC in use on this coming clamshell folding device.

At this moment, we can’t be sure of the exact processor Huawei will settle for, but we do know that it will lack 5G support. Storage on the Huawei Pocket S will only come in two options, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. Both storage capacities are more than enough for regular usage but might be a dealbreaker for the power users demanding more storage and RAM capacity.

Our sources also gave off hands-on images of the Huawei Pocket S in what appears to be the Pink colour option. The images show off the circular rear display, triple camera cutout, and thickness of the device while folded. Already, Huawei has begun accepting pre-orders for their upcoming clamshell folding device that might make great sales in its local market.
