The 128GB and 256GB versions of the Huawei Pocket S went on sale last month, and the 512GB version went on sale today, priced at RMB 7,488.
Huawei Pocket S features a 6.9-inch flexible screen design with a golden viewing ratio, a weight of about 190g, and an ultra-slim 7.2mm body (folded 15.2mm thick with a new-generation waterdrop hinge) for a comfortable holding experience.
Huawei Pocket S offers six stylish colors, including Obsidian Black, Frost Silver, Mint Green, Cherry Pink, Primrose Gold, and Ice Crystal Blue. The frosted glass used in Frost Silver has a delicate feel and no fingerprints. The other five colors use bright glass to form a transparent ceramic texture, which can create a sense of space and three-dimensionality under different light.
Huawei Pocket S is the industry’s first multi-dimensional linkage lifting drop hinge, with multiple buffers between opening and closing, and innovative MIM steel material, which is stronger and more stable. After 400,000 folding tests, it has obtained the world’s first Swiss SGS folding screen mobile phone durability certification.
In terms of configuration, Huawei Pocket S uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G processor, supplemented by ultra-cool flexible graphene heat dissipation; equipped with a 6.9-inch 2790 × 1188 resolution OLED screen, supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 300Hz touch sampling rate, supports 1.07 billion colors, P3 wide color gamut; the external screen uses a 1.04-inch 340 × 340 circular OLED screen. Huawei Pocket S also supports HDR Vivid video display, with richer colors and layers, and stronger contrast between light and dark. At the same time, an anti-reflective nano-optical film is also used, which is also clear in the sun.
Huawei Pocket S is equipped with a super-sensing imaging system and RYYB super-sensing sensor, which increases the amount of incoming light by 40%. The 40-megapixel super-sensing main camera focuses on “real perception, textured images”. It is also equipped with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (aperture f / 2.2), laser focus sensor.
Although the body is thin and light, Huawei Pocket S is still equipped with a 4000mAh large-capacity battery, which can be fully charged in 53 minutes with a 40W super fast charge.
