Huawei Mate 50 series to launch soon; spotted on multiple certifications

Huawei, a Chinese tech giant, is gearing up to launch its 2022 flagship lineup. The lineup will be formally known as the Huawei Mate 50 series. The Huawei Mate 50 and Huawei Mate 50 Pro are expected to launch under the lineup. Now, ahead of any formal announcement, the products have been spotted on multiple certifications, giving us a hint about the upcoming launch.

Huawei Mate 50 series launching soon?

Multiple devices such as the Mate 50 series, including the Mate 50, Mate 50e, Mate 50 Pro, and the Mate 50 RS edition smartphone are expected to launch under the Huawei Mate 50 lineup of smartphones. We still don’t have any official announcement on the same, and hence, you can take the information with a pinch of salt. Well, known tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some details regarding the specifications of the upcoming Huawei Mate 50 device.

Huawei Mate 50 series

According to the information shared by DCS, the Mate 50 series has just gone through three Chinese certification websites and will feature 66W fast charging (namely 3C, SRRC, and CTA). The source also mentioned that in addition to the standard facial recognition technology for biometric security, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro would have a lot of innovative features and capabilities. According to reports, the device’s front display would also be curved.

According to a prior source, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset will only be available in a 4G variant for the Mate 50 series. The Snapdragon 778G SoC will be used in the Mate 50e variant. In addition, the base model would have a 90Hz refresh rate, while the Pro and RS variants at the top end would have a higher 120Hz refresh rate.
