On September 15 we are going to see the launch of the Honor X40 Series, which the company says is its new benchmark. There are no details from Honor regarding the specifications of devices in this series. But, we know that the X-Series are not the company’s flagship line-up, so this coming device will not be out of the ordinary.

Although no being a flagship device, the Honor X40 will be the first device in the X-Series to use a curved display. According to the company, the screen will be a 10-bit OLED panel, but, we are not aware of the screen size as well as other in-depth details. The promotion image of this device shares some similarities to the Huawei Mate 50 Series launch promotion image with the presence of a large ring.

The ring on the promotion image shows that the coming Honor X40 will use a ring camera cutout. This ring is to house just two camera sensors and a flash. Its camera ring will be similar to the Huawei Mate 40 Series and leave the centre bare for design aesthetics.

Already the Honor X40 Series holds the X40i which became official a few months ago. This device will welcome at least two new entries on September 15. More information about the devices in this coming series will become available to the public in the coming weeks.
