Honor to launch X6 entry-level phone overseas with the 50-megapixel main camera

The Honor X40 phone was launched in China on September 15, It starts at RMB 1,499 and features a 6.67-inch 2400 x 1080 OLED centered single-hole curved screen with a Snapdragon 695 processor. Yesterday, Honor Myanmar announced that it would introduce the Honor X40 phone alongside the Honor X6 entry-level phone.

The Honor X6 will feature a waterdrop screen design, with the power and volume buttons located on the right side of the device. On the back of the Honor X6, there is a rounded rectangular rear camera module in the top left corner, with the Honor logo below. The images suggest that the Honor X6 will feature a 50-megapixel main camera and a 5000mAh battery, with a big screen and a big battery.

According to Gsmarena, a source has revealed that the Honor X6 will feature a 6.5-inch HD+ resolution LCD screen and run Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12. In terms of performance, the Honor X6 will be powered by a MediaTek chip and come with 4+128GB of storage. In terms of imaging, the Honor X6 will feature a 5MP selfie camera on the front and two 2MP secondary cameras on the rear in addition to the 50MP primary camera. The device will cost around $130 (about RMB 911.3) and is expected to come in three colorways: black, blue and white.

On 23 July, Honor launched the Honor X8 5G phone in overseas markets. The phone features a 6.5-inch FHD+ resolution screen, a 48-megapixel main camera and a built-in 5000mAh battery. The Honor X8 5G phone looks similar to the Honor X6, with only some configuration differences.
