The New Honda Prologue

According to Honda, the Prologue looks like an SUV but the car is capable of satisfying both everyday driving needs and weekend gateways. The new vehicle has a long wheelbase, comparatively shorter overhangs, and a strong stance that comes with an excellent tire. Honda also said that the car represents the values of the global Honda design direction.

Now, GM is also a part of this electric vehicle. GM has been the co-development partner and the company thinks that the smart strategy is to electrify quicker. Honda wants to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and they plan on launching 30 EVs by the end of 2030, globally.

In 2024, Prologue will first arrive in North America ad then the company will follow up with new models in 2026. This is all according to the new Honda Architecture. In 2027 a new series of affordable EVs are coming from Honda and these vehicles will also be co-developed with GM. Honda reportedly wants to sell over 500,000 EVs only in North America by the end of 2030.

At the moment, Honda is working very closely with the dealers. The company is preparing them for the customers coming from the new era of EVs.
