At the same time, Honda said it wants to increase sales of Honda electric two-wheelers through models with pedals and electric bikes launched in China, Southeast Asia and other places, and plans to accelerate the transition to electric two-wheelers by increasing global sales to more than 20 times that of 2021, to 3.5 million units, by 2030.

Honda had planned to complete the de-gasification of the two-wheeled vehicle segment around 2040. However, due to market demand, Honda will not directly cut the production capacity of two-wheeled gasoline vehicles for the time being.
