Hologram Electronics today launched a Chroma Console music effector with a retro-style design, priced at $399 and is said to be “limited quantity.”

It is reported that Chroma Console has a “Gestures” function that can realize automation functions. Hologram Electronics claims that users can easily adjust the distortion rate and pitch “with just the push of a button and the turn of a few knobs.”

Hologram Electronics claims to have equipped the Chroma Console with “a variety of useful features,” with the mixer equipped with stereo in/out, 5-pin DIN connector, USB-C port, 80 user presets, and more.

In addition, Chroma Console has four effect modules, namely “Character”, “Movement”, “Diffusion” and “Texture”, each with five different modes, for a total of 20 effects:

Character is mainly used to achieve overdrive, fuzz, compression and swell effects.

Movement is used for modulation effects such as doubling, vibrato, phaser, and tremolo.

Diffusion is used to modulate time-based effects such as delay and echo,

Texture adds "finishing flavor" to the sound, with filters, compressors and tap emulators.

The Chroma Console also has a “Drift” effect that makes music clips more “random and unstable.” There’s also a “Capture” function that works both as an infinite sustainer and as a looper with a recording time of up to 30 seconds.
