GPD’s WIN MAX 2 handheld exposure: supports the OcuLink graphics dock

Win Max 2 handheld from GPD has been revealed by console enthusiast Cary Golomb on May 5. The new handheld is equipped with AMD’s latest R7 7840U processor and comes with an OcuLink docking station.

The GPD WIN Max 2 is a handheld notebook with a 10.1-inch ultra-narrow bezel screen and a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600. GPD has previously launched a version of the R7 6800U, priced from $5599.

The Oculink interface shown above can be used for external storage and graphics cards, and many Oculink docking stations can be found on e-commerce platforms, often at a much cheaper price than Thunderbolt docking stations.

At the moment, GPD has not announced the release date of the new Win Max 2 handheld notebook.

This handheld notebook uses a standard keyboard layout, the handle part of the first introduction of Hall rocker, shoulder keys with linear trigger keys, dual vibration motors, three-axis gravity sensing + three-axis gyroscope, six-axis design.
