Rose Young, CEO of the screen supply chain consulting company DSCC, recently tweeted that the previous news about the Google Pixel Fold 2 folding screen phone was wrong.
He said in a tweet that the internal screen size of the Google Pixel Fold 2 folding screen phone is 8.02 inches and the external screen size is 6.29 inches, and that the panel will begin mass production in April this year.
Some users question this and believe that if the internal screen is 8 inches, the external screen should be at least 6.5 inches. Otherwise, it means that the borders around the external screen are very thick and cannot compete with domestic phone manufacturers.
Ross Young’s reply was that the outer screen of the Pixel Fold 2 phone is very wide, just like the Pixel Fold 1.
It was previously cited source @OnLeaks to report that it shared a high-definition CAD rendering of the Google Pixel Fold 2 phone. The diagonal length of the inner screen in the unfolded state is 7.9 inches. If the frame is calculated, the measurement value is 8.1 inches.
