Google Pixel 7a prototype appears on eBay auction site: won’t boot, missing SIM card tray

A user named “nikoskom-94” is auctioning a Pixel 7a prototype phone on the eBay platform. Judging from the pictures, the device model is different from the photos shared by the Vietnamese media Zing News before, and the back of the fuselage is not Google’s LOGO.

The starting price of this prototype is $5,000 (currently about 34,500 RMB), and the buy-in price is $12,000 (currently about 82,800 RMB).

After receiving no bids from any users, the seller first lowered the selling price to US$2,500 (currently about 17,250 RMB), and then lowered it again to US$1,650 (currently about 11,385 RMB) ). The auction page showing that the seller has closed the auction.

In the product description it reads: “This is a prototype Pixel 7a. It doesn’t boot properly, only enters fastboot mode. The device looks good, maybe a nice collectible from Google before it’s officially released. Note that the SIM card tray Lost, and no postage.”
