A week after the release of Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3, Google has once again released the latest update for its Android 13 quarterly update testbed, version QPR2 Beta 3.1.

Although it’s not a major update, version T2B3.230109.004 does contain some important bug fixes.

According to the release notes published by Google, there are two bugs fixed in this version, one of them is a problem with the system’s Bluetooth module that “may allow out-of-bounds writes due to memory corruption” and the second one is a fix for some missing Romanian translations in the system.

For those who are currently running the beta version, you can access the “System Update” screen through the “System” section of the “Settings” menu and start the update. This version is only about 21MB in size and is expected to download quickly.

For those who have never used the Android Beta, you will need to sign up to the Android Beta program first to receive the update push.

Of course, you can also download the firmware manually, but it’s best to back up your important data on your phone first. The Android beta is currently only available for Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6 series or Pixel 7 series devices.
