Fitbit earlier this year for high-end users launched a “Sleeping Profiles” (sleep profile) function, and Google recently released the Pixel Watch will also get this function.

This sleep tracking feature provides an in-depth analysis of the user’s sleep based on 10 metrics, such as daily sleep time, sleep duration, and rapid eye movement (REM) time. In addition, these data will be represented by different animals, for example, users who sleep late, wake up early and therefore sleep for a shorter period of time will be represented by a giraffe.

Google said in the announcement that Pixel Watch users can access the “Sleeping Profiles” feature, which analyzes data recorded over the past month at the end of each month. Google said that users who have used the Pixel Watch for sleep tracking for at least 14 nights in the past October will have access to the “Sleeping Profiles” feature on Nov. 22.

In addition, Google shared some of the features on Fitbit Premium, including a library of more than 1,000 workouts and other mental exercises, monitoring stress levels and more. It can also help users decide whether to exercise or perform physical rehabilitation activities based on their health status.
