Geely: February sales of 21,289 pure electric vehicles, up 74% year-on-year

Geely Automobile announced this afternoon on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that the Group’s total sales in February 2023 were 108,701 units, an increase of about 39% over the same period last year.

Geely Auto’s announcement that Geely sold 21,289 units of pure electric models (including power exchange) in February, up 74% year-on-year; 1,994 units of plug-in hybrids in February, down 3% year-on-year; and 401 units of oil-electric hybrids in February, up 86% year-on-year.

Geely Automobile said that in addition to the sales disclosed above, in February 2023, the Group delivered 2,432 Link-branded vehicles to subscription customers in the European market under the subscription-accommodation model, and a total of 4,095 vehicles were delivered under the subscription-accommodation model in the first two months of 2023.

For comparison, Geely’s total sales in January 2023 were 103,452 units, down approximately 29% year-over-year. Of these, 10,443 vehicles were sold in January for the pure electric model (including the power exchange), a decrease of 32% year-over-year.
