The Olympic e-sports series is a global virtual and simulated sports competition held by the International Olympic Committee in cooperation with the International Federation (IF) and game publishers. The final will be held in June 2023 Held in Singapore from 22-25, tickets are on sale now and will be streamed live on the official website.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) released event details and ticketing information on Friday (May 5). Regular tickets start at SGD 10 per day (approximately RMB 52.11), and three-day passes start at SGD 20 (approximately RMB 104.22).

The IOC also announced the addition of Fortnite to its esports lineup, but not the familiar battle royale mode.

According to reports, the Olympic e-sports event uses a special invitational event, and 12 players from the Fortnite Champion Series will “test their accuracy of aiming at the dedicated map “International Shooting Sports Federation Island”, just like sports shooters. Same in the game”.

In March, the International Olympic Committee announced it would be venturing into esports. But instead of adding video games directly to the Olympics, it is hosting a global virtual and simulated sports competition this year called the 2023 Olympic Esports Series.

The event was met with skepticism when the original list of selected events was announced, as the IOC chose traditional sports games instead of traditional esports like League of Legends or Counter-Strike. The Olympic E-sports Week will showcase a wide variety of Internet sports competitions and sports simulations through a four-day event.

The event will include demonstrations of the latest technology, workshops, tutorials, and exhibition matches, in addition to the Fortnite sports shooting competition. It also has archery (Tic Tac Bow), baseball (WBSC eBaseball: Power Pros), chess (Chess.com), cycling (Zwift), dance sports (Just Dance), motorsports (Gran Turismo 7) ), Sailing (Virtual Regatta), Taekwondo (Virtual Taekwondo) and Tennis Clash, stay tuned.

The Olympic e-sports series is based on the success of the previous Olympic Virtual Series and is a global virtual sports simulation event launched in cooperation with the International Sports Federation. The live broadcast of the first final of the Olympic Esports Series will be the highlight of this Olympic Esports Week.
