You may not imagine, even to charge the car, you do not have to get out of the car operation. Recently, according to overseas media reports, Ford officially launched a robot charging station, the user in the charging station can control the robot automatically connected to the car charging interface through the smartphone, even without getting off.

Ford said the charging station is mainly to meet the charging needs of disabled drivers.

According to Ford’s investigation, the excessive weight of the charger and charging cable may make the charging equipment inaccessible to some disabled people, so Ford invented the robotic charging station to solve this problem.

Engineer Birger Fricke said, ” For some drivers, vehicle refueling or charging may be the main problem affecting them, and our robot charging station launched this time may be an extra convenience for some people, and absolutely essential for some disabled people who can’t use the charging device conveniently.”

After activating the device via the mobile app, the charging station cover slides open and the charging arm extends toward the vehicle port using a camera, and the charging arm retracts into place after charging.

It is understood that in the future, the robot charging equipment can be installed in places such as parking lots and private homes to meet the charging needs of some special people.

I have to say, this new charging facility is really full of humanistic care, and it’s worth a compliment for Fote this time!
