According to reports, the new Hongqi H5 fuel cell vehicle is equipped with the second-generation fuel cell engine independently developed by the powertrain department. Compared with the previous generation, it is 40% higher than the previous generation, with a rated power of 65kW and a rapid cold start of -30℃, reaching the domestic leading level.
The energy of this power system uses hydrogen fuel, which does not burn oil and does not charge.
It is worth noting that the current Hongqi H5 already has a version equipped with hydrogen fuel cells, and its battery life has reached 520km, and the battery life of the new generation model is expected to be improved.
The new fuel and hybrid version of the H5 has been pre-sold, starting at 170,000, and will be officially launched on July 26. The new car adopts the latest design style of the family.
In addition, Hongqi will also launch a pure electric version of the H5, which is expected to adopt a front face similar to that of the E-HS9 at the same time, and retain the design of the straight waterfall air intake grille to create the aura that a luxury car should have.
In addition, the pure electric H5 will be equipped with a 111kWh power battery. This battery is FAW’s first self-developed all-in-one CTP power battery assembly. It has three characteristics of high safety, high energy, and 20-minute ultra-fast charging. Its range, but not expected to be low.
The trial production of the fuel cell vehicle this time will further enrich the product lineup of Hongqi H5 and enhance the overall competitiveness.
