Firefox 104 version was recently released for the desktop version, Android version and iOS version have brought a number of functional improvements.

Firefox 104 desktop version.
Subtitles are now available for Disney+ Picture-in-Picture

Firefox now supports the scroll-snap-stop property as well as recapture. Users can use the always and normal values of the scroll-snap-stop property to specify whether or not to pass the snap point, even when scrolling fast. Recapturing attempts to preserve the last capture position after any content/layout changes.

Firefox Parser can analyze the power usage of a website (Apple M1 and Windows 11 only).

Firefox UI itself limits performance and battery usage when minimized or obscured.

Highlighting colors are now correctly retained after entering a carriage return in the mail editor of Yahoo Mail and Outlook.

After bypassing https, the only error page returned would take the user to the previously closed error page. The return now takes the user to the last site visited.

Paste unformatted shortcuts (shift+ctrl / cmd+v) now work in plain text contexts, such as input and text areas.

Various security fixes.

Firefox 104 for Android.
Users can now auto-fill forms about addresses on Firefox. This feature is automatically turned on by default, but users can turn it off at any time in the AutoFill settings.

LastPass password autofill hints will no longer show up under incorrect fields.

Microphone notifications when recording audio will be displayed as expected.

GPU blacklisting has been fixed to avoid graphics crashes.

Users can now copy from text areas that may have previously been blocked.

Fixed additional sites that would not load correctly using Enhanced Tracking Protection Strict Mode.

Fixed scrolling performance bug that caused interlaced scrolling instead of smooth scrolling.

Fixed an issue with accessibility crashing.

Firefox 104 for iOS.
Mobile bookmarks will be displayed first: all bookmarks created on Firefox for iOS will be displayed first when the user opens the bookmarks page. The bookmarks page, bookmarks taskbar and uncategorized bookmarks folder are placed in a folder called desktop bookmarks. By default, bookmarks are saved to the appropriate root folder.

Bug fix and optimization: Sponsored shortcut URLs that users frequently visit will no longer be displayed as shortcuts on the Firefox for iOS home page. If a user has previously visited a sponsored shortcut, it will still appear in the history.
