A suspicious report from 91Mobiles over the weekend said that one of Apple’s largest resellers in the Asia-Pacific region is stocking new iPhone and iPad models, including the so-called “iPhone 14 mini” and the iPad 10 with a 10.2-inch screen, but the information may be wrong. The information is likely incorrect.

The report comes from Evan Blass (@evleaks), who has accurately revealed countless Lumia and Android smartphones, as well as iPhone 12 and HomePod mini images, and has revealed that the iPad Air 4 will come with an A14 chip and USB-C port, among other things. The tweets about “iPhone 14 mini” availability have been deleted or hidden.

Previously analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and many other sources reported that this year’s Apple iPhone 14 lineup will not include the iPhone 14 mini. Instead, the lineup includes two 6.1-inch models (iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro) and two 6.7-inch models (“iPhone 14 Max ” and iPhone 14 Pro Max). For those who prefer a 5.4-inch screen, the iPhone 13 mini will likely stay in Apple’s lineup at a lower price point.

Separately, display industry analyst Ross Young said the 10th generation iPad will come with a larger 10.5-inch display as part of a rumored redesign.

While reports suggest that Apple distributors are preparing for new iPads to hit shelves in September, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said in his latest newsletter that he expects new iPads and Macs to be released at the October event, including the 10th generation iPad and iPad Pro with the M2 chip. gurman said iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura will be released in October, so it makes sense to launch new iPads and Macs that month.

According to Gurman, Apple plans to hold a new iPhone 14 series event on Wednesday, Sept. 7. Apple has not yet officially announced the event.
