Without additional accessories, the RS 3 Mini can be quickly converted to vertical shooting by directly mounting the standard quick release plate on the vertical arm of the gimbal, making it more convenient to shoot short videos such as Shake Shack. RS 3 Mini is also equipped with a 1.4-inch touch screen and a new UI design, which allows most functions to be adjusted without an app and common settings to be reached at a touch. The side of the camera is equipped with a NATO port, supporting the installation of handheld adapter grip, external fill light, monitor and other accessories. At the same time, the integrated battery grip can bring up to 10 hours of battery life, support while charging, as fast as 2.5 hours full charge.

In terms of software, the RS 3 Mini uses the same RS 3rd generation stabilization algorithm as the RS 3 Pro. The RS 3 Mini also comes standard with the Bluetooth shutter control feature that debuted on DJI’s flagship stabilizer, the RS 3 Pro.
