Dimensity 9000+ reportedly beats out Snapdragon 8+ Gen1; AnTuTu report

AnTuTu is one of the most popular benchmarking platforms out there. It is available for both the iOS and Android platforms and reviewers often use it to get an idea about the device’s overall performance. The AnTuTu releases the list of top-performing smartphones at a regular time interval and now, the top-performing smartphones for the month of September have been released in China. The report has some surprising things to say, let’s dive deep into the information.

AnTuTu report claims Dimensity 9000+ superior to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1

Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets are known for their sustainable performance and developer support. However, after the launch of the Snapdragon 888 chipset, the Snapdragon failed to offer a sustainable performance and the chipsets launched after that were known for their heating and thermal thrilling issues. But, the most recent Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 seems to have solved the issues present in the predecessor.

Meanwhile, during this time, MediaTek worked on its chipsets and also entered the flagship market. Their chipsets did not have any thermal throttling issues, unlike Snapdragon flagships. And also according to the list of top 10 performing smartphones in China, shared by the AnTuTu, the ASUS ROG Phone 6D has managed to conquer the list by scoring 1123036 points in the AnTuTu benchmarks.

It is the only device powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset and the rest of the devices in the list are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. However, even being the only device on the list to power up using the MediaTek flagship, the device has been able to beat out every other device present on the list.

All of this, however, is based on a report made public by AnTuTu. The devices’ and chipset’s actual performance might be different. Finally, it came as no surprise to us that MediaTek was able to outperform Qualcomm’s flagship chip, at least according to AuTuTu reports. Let’s see if the Qualcomm Snapdragon can beat MediaTek to the top spot in the market for flagship mobile chipsets.
