Zhao Changjiang, general manager of the sales department of Denza, announced the recent plan yesterday, saying that the EV version of Denza D9 will start to be delivered in the second half of the year. The battery life is 230 kilometers per minute, which solves the problem of not relying on fast charging piles.

Zhao Changjiang said that the first OTA upgrade of intelligent assisted driving and intelligent cockpit will be launched later this month to continue to improve user experience. In addition, Denza channel services will be further expanded and upgraded to provide product experience and services to more regions and users.

According to Zhao Changjiang, Denza’s second product, the N7, will start to enter the third stage of dynamic testing, and the appearance will also begin to spread. The third SUV product has also entered the third stage of dynamic testing.

Zhao Changjiang expects to achieve the delivery of the 20,000th Denza D9 this month, breaking the 10,000 mark in a single month in March. Delivery data shows that BYD’s Denza Motors sold 6,439 units in January, a month-on-month increase of 7.3%.

The Denza D9 was launched in August last year and started delivery on October 26. Denza D9 offers 7 models in 2 versions of DM-i super hybrid and pure electric, with a price range of 329,800 CNY to 459,800 CNY.

As a medium-to-large high-end new energy MPV, the Denza D9 has a length, width and height of 5250/1960/1920mm, and a wheelbase of 3110mm. Among them, the DM power system adopts DM-i super hybrid technology, with a comprehensive battery life of 1040km and a pure electric battery life of up to 190km; the EV power system is based on the e platform 3.0, and the longest CLTC battery life can reach 600+km.
