That Deepal Auto officially announced the launch of a new phone car key. This new addition supports some Xiaomi models: Redmi K70, Redmi K50 Ultra, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Xiaomi MIX FOLD.
The Xiaomi Wallet NFC car key can achieve the same functions as the NFC card key. After activation, it can be unlocked/locked by touching it with the screen off, and the card can be swiped when the phone is turned off.
Activation process:
Check before activation: vehicle version Deepal OS2.0 or above, Deepal App version 1.3.9 or above
- The phone network connection is normal (the switch is in the phone drop-down menu);
- Turn on the NFC function of the phone (the switch is in the drop-down menu of the phone);
- Enable Deepal App’s self-start permission (open Settings – Application Settings – Authorization Management – Self-Start Management);
- Make sure that the Xiaomi smart card version is 23.09.22.1.f or above and the digital key framework version is 13.0.15 or above (open Xiaomi Wallet – Mine – hexagon in the upper right corner – Smart Card Settings – Check for updates);
- Query the NFC card swiping area of the corresponding model (open wallet – transportation card – click the three dots in the upper right corner – intelligent customer service – card swiping area);
Users can add wallet car keys in “Deepal- Car Nickname – Vehicle Settings – My Keys Page”. The App interface will jump to Xiaomi Wallet. After loading is completed, the user will enter the add car key interface and follow the prompts to paste the NFC card swiping area on the phone. At the NFC card reader of the vehicle, hold and wait for about a minute before the Mi Wallet car key card interface is displayed. After clicking Return, the vehicle page shows that the mobile wallet car key has been added, and the activation is complete.
Precautions for using wallet keys:
- Please set the card fingerprint verification policy to never verify to avoid affecting the card swiping success rate;
- If the NFC card swiping using your phone fails, please move the phone 5cm away for more than 1 second and swipe the card again. Do not stick the phone to the rearview mirror and move it repeatedly to avoid scratches;
- When multiple Xiaomi devices activate wallet keys for the same car, only the wallet key activated by the last device will be retained.
