Chinese variant of Realme 10 Pro could offer Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset

Realme is gearing up for the launch of its upcoming Realme 10 series. The series is expected to release three different smartphones; the Realme 10, Realme 10 Pro and Realme 10 Pro+. More devices might get added to the series later. The top-of-the-line mode is expected to feature a curved OLED display and the chin on the smartphone is expected to be narrower when compared with the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The brand has officially started teasing the launch of its upcoming Realme 10 lineup of smartphones. Recently, three different Realme smartphones with the model number RMX3663, RMX3687 and RMX3615 was listed on 3C and TENAA certification. This also hints towards their imminent launch. However, as usual, the device might first land in China and later move to the global markets.

Anyway, the known tipster WHYLAB has said that the forthcoming Realme 10 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset and the Realme 10 Pro will be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. He adds that the 6.7-inch OLED display for the Realme 10 Pro would be provided by BOE. In addition to supporting Full HD+ resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels, 10-bit colours, and native 2160Hz PWM high-frequency dimming, the display will have curved edges.

It would be interesting to see how the brand manages to price the Realme 10 Pro as if offers a curved OLED panel with the flagship chipset. This could be the costliest Realme number series device we have seen ever. However, let’s wait till the official launch to know more about the devices.
