Recently, Chery held the theme activity of “Yao Guang 2025 Chery Technology DAY”, in which Chery displayed a number of black technologies and a visionary concept car, and also officially launched the “Yao Guang 2025” forward-looking technology strategy, which covers four core areas: Mars architecture, Kun Peng power, Lion technology and Galaxy ecology.

Chery said it will use this as the basis to build 13 core technologies including platform architecture, three electric power, intelligent driving, intelligent cloud platform and ecological partners. Chery “Yaoguang Laboratory” was also launched at the conference to carry out the development and research of related technologies.

In the “New Energy” and “Black Technology” section, Chery’s new intelligent hybrid architecture, multi-functional skateboard platform, intelligent flying cockpit, EEA5.0 and other technologies were presented together. Among them, the Intelligent Flight Cockpit is the latest generation of intelligent cockpit developed by Chery.

The interior of the cabin adopts Chery’s original variable wheelbase ring hug two-seat nebula cabin layout, the cabin wheelbase is variable, when the cabin is the maximum wheelbase, the driver will be flush with the rear seats, and can interact with the rear occupants.

At the same time, the cockpit also uses a large OLED screen technology with a thickness of 7mm, breaking through technical pain points such as installation thickness and the inability to customize the display image. And the Chery GENE (Genes) concept car also met with the public.

Chery pointed out that in order to reach the above goals, it plans to invest 100+ billion in R&D in the next 5 years, train 20,000+ R&D talents, and establish 300 yao-light labs to support cross-science and cross-border technology research.
