Chery Group sold 127,000 vehicles in April

Chery Holding Group sold 126,713 vehicles in April, a year-on-year increase of 128%, and its sales exceeded 100,000 vehicles for 11 consecutive months. From January to April, Chery Group sold a total of 457,048 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 60.4%. The group’s Tiggo 8, Tiggo 7, and Jietu X70 three models sold over 10,000 monthly, contributing 15,037, 18,715, and 11,834 sales respectively in April.

From the brand point of view:

  • Chery sold 92,252 vehicles in April, a year-on-year increase of 120.3%; from January to April, it sold 330,385 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 54.4%.
  • Exeed brand sold 8,102 vehicles in April, a year-on-year increase of 339.6%; January-April sales were 24,368 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 98.7%.
  • Jietu brand sold 19,005 vehicles in April, a year-on-year increase of 145.7%; from January to April, sales volume was 70,953 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 105.7%.

IT Home previously learned from the Shanghai Auto Show that Chery Group’s four brands jointly brought 14 new energy models and 12 latest technologies, demonstrating the latest achievements of comprehensive new energy with a 100% new energy lineup. At the Chery New Energy Night on April 7, the new energy electric brand iCAR was officially launched, and at the iCAR Brand Night on April 16, two new products, iCAR GT and iCAR 03, as well as the i-MS Multi-Magic New Energy Architecture Platform and i-VA Eco, were introduced.
