Foreign users James Laidler when trying to sign up for ChatGPT Plus service, found that the OpenAI website leaked the user’s email address.
Laidler got an error while signing up for ChatGPT Plus at 10:36 a.m. CST, and after several refreshes, he went to the payment page.
However, the page did not show his email address. He then refreshed the payment page again and either encountered a page glitch or a random display of someone’s email address.
It is found that this is not an isolated case, as there has been feedback from users about this problem since Monday.
One Reddit community user said, “This is horrible. I’m now very worried about the security of my account and bank details.”
