CDPR to Produce Live-Action Movie and TV Set in Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077″ developer CD Projekt Red yesterday in the latest issue of the official press release announced that it has begun to cooperate with Anonymous Content (literally “anonymous content studio”) media company to develop a “cyberpunk 2077” world as the background of live-action film and television works. CDPR will produce Cyberpunk 2077, a live-action movie and television series set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077.

In terms of specific developments, the official release reveals that the project is in the early stages of development and that a screenwriter is already being sought. According to the release, the movie and television production will tell a brand new story set in Cyberpunk 2077, and progress will continue to be made public.

Anonymous Content is an independent global media company that has produced Emmy Award-winning series such as True Detective and Army of Hackers, as well as Oscar-winning films such as The Wild Bunch and Spotlight. Currently, the company has episodes on the air including Holy Cross, Item Talon and more. As part of the partnership, CDPR will work directly with Garret Kemble, head of television at Anonymous Content, Ryan Schwartz, director of development, and David Levine, chief creative officer.
