The CATL Qilin battery is finding its way to certain EVs that will launch by next year. Among the list of EV manufacturers that are officially ready to use the Chinese EV battery maker’s new entry are AITO and ZEEKR. Both brands are Chinese and will debut this new battery pack.
Well, there are a few areas where this battery pack will bring improvements to the EVs they will launch in by 2023. Not only will the CATL Qilin battery be in use on the coming 2023 models of the AITO and ZEEKR there is more to this. Both electric car manufacturers have gone into a strategic partnership which will last them for five years.

The range that the CATL Qilin battery gives is over 1000km making it one of the longest ranges on an EV. The charge time of this battery will get a head start in under 5 minutes and fast charging in 10 minutes. For its efficiency, this new battery will kick things up to 72% with an energy density of over 255Wh/kg.
For the models to make use of this EV battery, ZEEKR will spot two new models which will use CATL’s new battery. Among the two EV models from ZEEKR will be the 001 and 009 entries. AITO on its part will use this battery on their coming SERES line-up.
