Canon announces February 8 launch event, may push full-frame entry camera EOS R8

The EOS R50 will feature a 24.2 megapixel APS-C sensor with a DIGIC X processor, support for 12fps continuous shooting and 4K30p recording, support for Dual Pixel AF II focusing, a 1.04-megapixel flip-up screen, and no EVF.

The EOS R8 is expected to cost $1,499 (currently about 10,178 yuan) and the EOS R50 is expected to cost $679 (currently about RMB 4610).

In addition, Canon is also expected to launch the RF 24-50mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM full-frame lens and the RF-S 55-210mm F5-7.1 IS STM APS-C format lens.

The EOS R8 with RF24-50mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM kit lens is expected to be priced at $1,699 (currently about RMB 11536).
