BYD’s April new energy vehicle sales reached 210,295 units, up 98.3% year-on-year

BYD’s sales of new energy vehicles in April were 210,295 units, compared with 106,042 units in the same period last year, an increase of about 98.3% year-on-year. BYD has sold a total of 761,271 new energy vehicles this year, compared with 391,271 in the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of about 94%.

In April this year, BYD’s production of new energy vehicles reached 209,448 units, compared with 107,478 units in the same period last year, an increase of approximately 94.88% year-on-year; the cumulative output this year reached 776,631 units, an increase of approximately 96.61% year-on-year.

In addition, BYD will sell a total of 14,827 new energy passenger vehicles overseas in April 2023. The installed capacity of power batteries and energy storage batteries for new energy vehicles in April will be approximately 9.954 GWh, and the cumulative installed capacity in 2023 will be approximately 36.945 GWh.

 BYD's sales of new energy vehicles in March were 207,080, and its cumulative sales this year were 552,076, a year-on-year increase of 92.81%.

 BYD's sales of new energy vehicles in February were 193,655, compared with 88,300 in the same period last year; the cumulative sales this year were 345,000, a year-on-year increase of 90.13%.

 BYD sold 151,341 new energy vehicles in January, a year-on-year increase of 58.6%.
