BYD officially released the preview image of Dynasty’s new sedan – Qin L, with the evolving “Chinese Dragon” looming between the light and shadow. In the future, Qin L will form a two-car layout with Qin PLUS. In terms of price, referring to the range of Qin PLUS and Han, the starting price of the new car may be more than 120,000 RMB.

Qin L’s front face design inherits Dynasty.com’s classic dragon-face aesthetics, combining oriental charm with modern science and technology. The LED headlights are narrow and sharp, and are highly integrated with the upward luminous “dragon whiskers”. The integrated design not only makes the dragon’s appearance more three-dimensional, but also amplifies the horizontal visual effect of the front face.

The side of Qin L is slender, with two simple body lines outlining the power of a dragon. The waistline is designed in two sections, and the roof line is full and smooth. Judging from the light and shadow pictures, the Qin L has a wide and thick tail, and the taillights adopt Dynasty.com’s iconic “Chinese knot” element, which has the same origin as the Han and Song L.

In terms of body size, referring to the previous declaration drawing, the length, width and height of the new car are 4830/1900/1495mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2790mm. For comparison, the body size of the current Qin PLUS model on sale is 4765/1837/1495mm, and the wheelbase is 2718mm. It can be said that the Qin L is larger than the Qin PLUS as a whole, and its stature is close to the standard of a mid-size car.

The maximum power of the engine is 74 kilowatts and the maximum power of the motor is 160 kilowatts. The new car is equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries from Zhengzhou Fudi. The batteries are available in 15.874kWh and 10.08kWh for consumers to choose from, corresponding to pure electric cruising ranges of 90km and 60km respectively.
