After the disclosure of January 2023 production and sales data, BYD Auto has now announced January sales data for each model. The data show that BYD Auto sold 151,341 units in January, up 58.6% year-on-year; passenger car sales of 150,164 units (including exports of 10,409 units), up 57.8% year-on-year.

Specifically, BYD sold 78,826 units of DM models and 71,338 units of EV models in January, and the cumulative sales of new energy exceeded 3.5 million units. BYD brand Dynasty and Ocean sold 143,725 units in January, an increase of 51% year-on-year; Tengsi brand sold 6,439 units in January, an increase of 7.3% year-on-year.
