BYD 7000 car dual-fuel car carrier is 200 meters long, 38 meters wide, with a design draft of 9 meters and a design speed of 18.5 knots. It adopts natural gas (LNG) / fuel oil dual-fuel propulsion system to meet the requirements of intelligent ships, and is equipped with battery system and shaft belt generator for the first time, and adopts various energy-saving measures such as energy-saving devices and anti-fouling paint.

The order is the first car carrier ordered by BYD Group as the final cargo owner, which will break the “neck” situation of European shipping companies for a long time and ensure the stability of BYD’s new energy car export supply, according to GSI.

According to the data, BYD sold 1,868,543 vehicles in 2022, an increase of 152.5% year-on-year, and became the No. 1 in global new energy vehicle sales. As BYD’s first model for the global market, BYD ATTO 3 exported 40,014 units in 2022.
