According to a research report shared by Barclays analysts Blayne Curtis and Tom O’Malley this week, the iPhone 15 series models will support Wi-Fi 6E, but it does not specify whether the feature is available on all models or limited to the Pro series models, MacRumors reported on Jan. 26.

So far, Apple has added Wi-Fi 6E support for a handful of devices, including the latest 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro and Mac mini models, while all iPhone 14 models are still limited to standard Wi-Fi 6.

There was talk that iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 would also support Wi-Fi 6E, but that ultimately failed to materialize. Now that Apple has started bringing Wi-Fi 6E support to its latest devices, it’s likely that iPhone 15 will eventually support the standard.

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max in September as usual, and sources say all four models will come with a Spirit Island and USB-C port, while the Pro model is expected to come with Apple’s latest A17 bionic chip, solid-state volume, and a power button, among other things.
