Following the foreign technology media 9to5Mac reported that macOS Ventura notification system has many bugs, another media MacRumors also pointed out that its notification system has another bug: every time the user starts the Mac, even if the user has disabled the relevant process, but macOS will still send a reminder to the user, there are various background running application notifications.
After you disable the preview of notifications via the System Settings -> Notifications -> Show Preview path, you will still receive a lot of “Login Items” notifications after booting up your Mac.
If the user enables notification preview, then the notification system will show “Background Items Added” and include “[Name of App/Process] added an item that can run in the background. You can manage it in the login item settings”.
Strangely, there is no option in System Settings -> General -> Login Items to remove background items added to macOS by installed applications. The user can only disable the listed items by toggling the switch. However, this seems to have no effect on notifications, and in some cases may result in more notifications appearing.
Reddit, Twitter, and Apple support community discussions that the highest number of notifications are for application processes such as Google Updater, Adobe CC Helper, and Dropbox. But basically, all third-party background processes may appear in the login item notifications.
There is still no workaround for this notification. In a few cases, Apple macOS may send notifications even if the user has uninstalled the app in question.
